Check out this post for a review of American Airlines domestic first class experience: Envoy Air, Aircraft, and Seat.
Envoy Air
Envoy Air is owned by American Airlines and operates over 1000 daily regional flights to over 150 destinations. Its fleet comprises Embraer 175, 145 and 140 jets along with Bombardier CRJ-700. It is an affiliate member of the one world alliance.
Aircraft
I recently flew on their brand new two class Embraer 175 version 1 jet that has a total of 76 seats. It is powered by General Electric engines, each producing a thrust of 14200 pounds.

Seat
I chose 1F - window seat for this short hour long flight and was surprised to see a blanket on my seat.
Did you know American offers blankets to first class passengers even on short domestic flights?

Obviously, if you are flying alone, the seats to chose from are 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A. However, on my flight, these seats were already taken so I had to settle for 1F.
I managed to get a picture of the cockpit as the door was open. On most flights, the cockpit door is usually open during boarding as the pilots need to receive weight/cargo sheets from the ground personnel after everything is loaded onto the plane.

My seat was really comfortable and had great legroom. (I am 6.1 and was able to completely stretch my legs)

I absolutely love looking out of the window during day flights. Here are some pictures I took enroute to Chicago.

Since this was a short flight, there was no real food service - only beverages and snacks (bag of chips, cookies) were offered. Also, there was not Wifi onboard but American Airlines is in the process of installing Wifi on all aircrafts.
Overall
It was a smooth 1 hour flight on a well maintained aircraft. Kudos to Envoy Air!
